Terms of Service
The ground rules.
Plain-English terms for using HireSignal. Last updated: August 2026.
Draft v1 — pending legal review
What this service is
HireSignal is a practice tool. It runs mock technical interviews — voice, live code, and a scorecard — so you can rehearse before the real thing. It is not a recruiter, not an employer, and not affiliated with Google, Meta, Apple, or any company whose interview style we imitate.
No job guarantee
We do not promise you a job, an interview, or any hiring outcome. Scores and verdicts are practice feedback generated by software. They are not endorsements and carry no weight with any employer.
Payments and credits
Paid plans grant session credits. Credits are for your account only: they are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be sold or gifted. Unused credits may expire when the plan period ends, as shown at checkout. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, we honour it.
Acceptable use
- Use the service to practise, not to cheat. You may not use HireSignal — or its output — during a real interview or assessment, or as a live assistant while someone else is being evaluated.
- You may not build, sell, or promote tools that inject HireSignal (or similar) into real interviews.
- Don't attempt to extract the question bank, rubrics, or scoring internals; don't probe for other users' data.
- Be civil in the room. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Your content
Your transcripts, code buffers, and scorecards belong to you. You grant us a limited licence to process them to run the interview, produce your scorecard, and improve the product — see the Privacy Policy and the retention policy.
Availability and changes
The service is provided “as is”. We may change features, pricing, or these terms; material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect.
